Testimonials
I am a 92-year-old retired registered nurse, active in swimming, ballroom dancing, and golfing. Recently I was a patient at Advanced Physical Therapy for sciatica due to stenosis of L3, 4, and 5.
My assigned therapist was Mimi Ton. Mimi astounded me with her physical ability to perform stretching exercises on my legs. Mimi gave me superb care, demonstrated the exercises I needed, and helped me perform them. She is well-informed, knowledgeable, energetic, thorough, and precise. She has a delightful, pleasing personality and is a pleasure to converse with during exercising.
I am most grateful to Mimi for discovering that if I fall down, I cannot get up to a standing position by myself. I couldn’t even get on my knees from a sitting position on the floor. I had no idea that I had that disability or lack of strength. I realized that I should not golf our 3-par course by myself. If I fell, I couldn’t get up. I was nearly finished with my physical therapy when Mimi asked Dr. Jerome Pierce for an extension from Medicare to work only on that disability. Dr. Pierce got the extension. Mimi helped me. She gave me exercises to perform at home to eventually be able to stand. I am performing the exercises at home. To be able to stand from a lying or sitting position on the floor is very difficult, but I am making progress.
I am most grateful to Mimi for discovering my disability and helping me to eventually overcome it.
Sincerely,
Lillian
Gentlemen,
Yesterday was “graduation day” for me from Advanced Physical Therapy of Laguna Viejo. As I filled out a pain progress form and went through my final therapeutic exercises with Ross and an exit summary with Mimi, I realized how much I wanted an opportunity to commend the services and treatment provided to me over the past weeks.
From day one, there was a friendly hello by Sassan or whoever was at the front desk, and I never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen by the therapists.
I was always greeted cheerfully by Ross and Mimi, who made me feel welcome, treated me with respect and dignity, and consistently gave me their full attention. They were fully aware of my issues and complaints and immediately responsive to my needs as well as my progress. Each one introduced me to movements and exercises that I’ve incorporated into my daily workout at the gym. And they were so encouraging—possibly the golden thread in all successful therapists.
Additionally, other members of your staff, like Betsy, always had a smile and hello and were eager to provide assistance if needed. The place was clean, and all equipment I used was well-maintained.
I really cannot say enough about how impressed I’ve been. Obviously, the goal was to feel better, which I do! But you have managed to create an atmosphere and a culture conducive to healing that is unequaled in my experience. As one who has had more surgeries and procedures than I can remember, I guarantee you that it is unique and should be celebrated and advertised so that it might be broadly cultivated.
Some people, like Ross and Mimi, were born for this kind of service. Others were not—it’s as simple as that.
Sincerely,
Judy

Advanced Physical Therapy
Peter, I have just completed my 12 sessions of physical therapy with you and your group, and I can’t leave without expressing my sincere thanks to you and your staff for the care I was given.
Every single staff member, from the smiling faces at the reception desk to the amazing and tireless Ross on the floor, to Connie and her magic hands and concern for every little detail of my comfort, made each session not only productive but a pleasure.
What was impressive was that you and your staff manage to combine an atmosphere of informality with a high level of professionalism. That’s not easy to do, and it speaks well for both management and a motivated and cohesive staff.
Ross left me with follow-up instructions and pictures and took the time to make sure I understood how to do the exercises correctly—on his lunch hour. This kind of personal interest in my well-being was there from day one—and it’s rare.
And I thank you especially for providing not just physical therapy, but a short course in anatomy, lots of good advice, and even a few laughs… which I badly needed.
Please extend my appreciation to all of your crew—with best wishes for a happy holiday season.

Dear Dr. Hauptman,
Thank you for your referral to Advanced Physical Therapy of Laguna Viejo for treatment of the neuromas in my feet. I have received excellent treatment from Justin Fesler, D.P.T., and his staff, and I am amazed by the results that have been achieved.
When I began treatment, I was having severe pain in both feet and felt helpless about my situation. Cortisone injections had only given me temporary relief. I felt that I would not be able to continue with my exercise of walking around the block and working out on a treadmill.
After treatment by Justin, my feet feel normal again, and I have hope of going back to what I was able to do in the past. Justin has also given me exercises to continue at home so that I hopefully won’t find myself in this situation again. This therapy has literally changed my life. I am so grateful to you for the referral and to Justin and Advanced Physical Therapy. Mine is truly a success story.
Best regards,
PM

I want to take this opportunity to thank Aria Guy and the entire staff of Advanced Physical Therapy.
I had bilateral knee replacement surgery at the end of March. I had some physical therapy at another facility before coming to Advanced Physical Therapy in early May. The difference between the two facilities is night and day. Advanced Physical Therapy is well-equipped with both staff and equipment to help clients progress quickly.
Right from the start, I knew I was in the right place. Aria was very hands-on and pushed me to do more. She applied her knowledge, time, and effort whenever I brought up any difficulty I was having at home. She worked through the problem and figured out a solution.
The entire staff ensured that I was working on the exercise machines correctly and safely. I was given exercises to do at home between therapy sessions, which was essential for progress.
I also want to thank the front office staff. In the beginning, there were some insurance issues, but they made sure everything was good before I started therapy. The email reminders about my next appointment were very helpful.
A big thank you to Aria and the entire staff at Advanced Physical Therapy. With their help, I see myself having an active life again, which is my goal.
